As a result of social conditioning and spiritual erosion, many people today believe that heaven and hell are mythical places that do not exist. But in ancient times, people knew that heaven and hell are real realms, and every culture had its own version of heaven and hell. Heaven was known by names such as Shambhala, Nirvana, Jannah, Mbiguni, and many others, while hell was called Gehenna, Naraka, Diyu, etc.
If you deeply contemplate reality and become deeply obsessed with spirituality, you’ll realize that the ancients were right because you’ll find that realms that match the conditions described as heaven and hell do exist, and the way we live determines the realm we will enter in the afterlife.
Heavenly realms are realms characterized by peace, love, joy, and harmony. These realms are accessed by souls who lived a righteous, detached life because they reflect their inner nature. Such souls have a high vibrational frequency, and they are not weighed down by attachment and unresolved inner turmoil. Dark, hellish earthly realms cannot pull them forcefully.
Because of their high vibrational frequency, these souls rise naturally toward realms that also vibrate at a higher frequency, which are mainly characterized by serenity and love. The soul arrives where it belongs, drawn by the quality of its state.
On the other hand, hell involves darker, lower vibrational realms characterized by negative states such as hate, jealousy, sadness, and pain. Souls that lived unrighteous lives are pulled to these realms when they leave their bodies because these realms reflect their inner states.
These realms are usually earth-like as they are characterized by pain and suffering. They are highly dense in nature and are populated by dark entities. Souls that caused pain and suffering to others are pulled into these realms after death because they reflect their inner nature.
Souls who were highly obsessed with earthly possessions or ambitions are also pulled into these realms so that the realms’ earth-like appearance allows them to own the material things or fulfill their earthly ambitions, yet the satisfaction they find is never complete, reflecting the emptiness of their attachments.
To avoid such hellish realms and to ensure you go to heavenly realms, you must embrace righteousness while still alive. No one will either reward you or punish you when you die. It’s just that you will find yourself in an environment that reflects your inner nature. It doesn’t matter if these environments or realms are products of the mind or real realms; what matters is that you will experience either of them when you die.
Just like physical reality, the afterlife is a malleable realm. The major difference between the afterlife and physical reality is that the environment of the afterlife quickly reacts to and reflects your inner state. If you are evil, the afterlife will appear evil; if you are loving, the afterlife will appear loving.
Therefore, heaven and hell surely exist, and they are a reflection of your inner states. Or just like the dream-world, they may be realms created by your inner state.
