For a long time, I have been obsessed with secret societies because of the power they have held since ancient times. I always want to know what makes them so powerful and influential, and for this reason, I have tried to uncover their rituals, beliefs, and spiritual principles.
One thing I have learned about all secret societies, whether it’s the Knights Templars, the Rosicrucians, or the Freemasons, is that they are all obsessed with activating the divine spark within.
All these secret societies believe that a divine spark, which is part of the true God, is trapped within our bodies. They see this spark as a sacred flame that represents our true self: a self we forgot because we are deeply hypnotized by physical reality. Our true purpose, according to several secret societies, is to activate this divine spark within. Everything they do, from symbols to rituals, is designed to activate this divine spark within.
They believe that the activation makes them god-like by allowing them to have power over the material realm. They believe that all physical forces will bow down to them when they activate this divine spark within, making it easier to direct the course of the material world.
According to many secret societies, when one activates the divine spark within, the world transforms into a living field of energy that quickly responds to their will. Moreover, one no longer feels trapped and helpless – in the material realm – as the activated inner flame allows one to rise above matter and become its master. At this level, events rearrange themselves to match inner will. Opportunities appear without effort, obstacles become manageable, and even dangers seem to move out of the way as if guided by an unseen force. To them, the divine spark within has always been the true ruler of physical reality, and once awakened, it reclaims its throne.
The images of horned beings, such as Baphomet, which are widely used in secret societies, symbolize the authority and victory over the material realm that one attains after activating the divine spark within. Most of us think that these beings represent Satanism, but the truth is that their horns symbolize power and dominion over the material realm.
In several ancient cultures, gods and kings were depicted with horns to symbolize earthly power and the idea that physical reality responded to their will. Secret societies embraced this ancient horn symbolism and used it to symbolize the awakening of the divine spark that enables one to shape material reality.
The sign of the Horned Hand, which is a hand gesture widely popularized today as a demonic sign, also represents the dominion over material reality attained after activating the divine spark. For this reason, the many celebrities who flash this sign do not use it to show their allegiance to Satan. Instead, they use it to show that they have risen above ordinary humanity and now possess the power to control their reality rather than be controlled by it. It’s an announcement that the divine spark has been activated and that the individual has risen above the animal-self. Whether they understand the full meaning behind it or they are just imitating those before them, the gesture still carries the same occult message: “I came, I saw, and I conquered the material realm.”
Anyway, from what I have read about secret societies, I have learned that they employ various techniques of activating the inner flame. One major technique is forcing the life-force or serpent energy to rise up the spine and ignite the divine flame through celibacy or sex magic. Others include spending nights in pitch black, silent chambers beneath temples, staring into the mirror for hours, invoking spiritual beings to help them, sensory deprivation, spending entire nights in burial sites, abandoned buildings, and haunted places, using psychedelics, performing symbolic death and rebirth rituals, lying among the dead, exposure to extremely frightening beings, and exposure to extremely dangerous situations.
From time immemorial, secret societies’ obsession with activating the divine spark within has driven them to impose such extreme practices on their members without caring about their psychological impact, such as emotional breakdowns, hallucinations, trauma, fear, or even madness. These effects have always been seen as necessary aspects of activating the divine self.
What they have always cared about is the activation of the divine spark within, and they welcome any technique that could cause it. To them, the end always justifies the means, because the moment the inner flame rises is worth more than an entire lifetime of ordinary existence.
After this moment, they claim that there is no return to ordinary awareness. Reality never appears the same again. It appears to be malleable, illusory, and even non-existent. Life stops behaving like chance and begins to move in alignment with inner intent, and they walk through existence like kings who have finally remembered their forgotten throne.
Perhaps this is the real source of their power. It is neither wealth nor influence nor secret alliances. It is the firm realization that they are divine beings who can consciously direct the world instead of drifting through it.
Whether one accepts their path or rejects it, one truth stands firm: the world has always been ruled by them – those who know their true divine nature – and everyone else is living in a structure built by them.
